US Government ASSASSINATES Powerful Enemy – He’s Dead!
(FeaturedNews.com) – On July 12, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced a massive win in the war on terror – an unmanned drone strike took out a prominent ISIS leader and seriously wounded one other. Colonel Joe Buccino, a CENTCOM spokesperson, said the US military’s resolve to remain in the region and address any known security threats remains unchanged.
The target, Maher al-Agal, is a known higher-up in the Islamic State. A commander during the height of the group’s power grab in Raqqa in 2020, he moved further north to Turkish-backed areas, commanding a terrorist faction called Jaysh Al-Sharqiyyah. It was in the Afrin region that drones found and eliminated the threat.

President Joe Biden said the death of al-Agal removes a significant player from the board “and significantly degrades” ISIS planning and resource abilities to conduct operations.
The successful operation to kill this terrorist is the latest in a string of missions successfully neutralizing major Daesh threats. From the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in 2019 to the latest leader of the organization, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Quraysh, killed in February of this year, ISIS continues to take hits. It would seem that not only is Central Command committed to fighting terrorism, but it’s also making significant progress.
