(FeaturedNews.com) – The Biden administration appears to have played a role in the raid by the FBI into former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, despite original reports which claimed that officials had been “stunned” to hear about it through social media.
America First Legal recently posted that according to the internal government documents which they had gained access to through a Freedom of Information Act request, “Biden officials in the Executive Office of the President and the Department of Justice unlawfully abused their power” and then hid the truth from the American people. All of this was noted in a post made by Reed D. Rubinstein, America First Legal senior counselor and director of oversight and investigations. In his post on Tuesday, he also noted that it appeared as if the Biden administration “acknowledges no limits on its power to harass, intimidate, and silence its political opponents.”
According to the documents that America First Legal gathered, the FBI had originally gained access to Trump records through a “special access request” that had been granted by the Biden administration. This new information further corroborates the Fox News report from August, when NARA acting head Debra Wall had alluded in a letter that the Biden administration had been involved in the case.
According to the records, John Laster, “the Archives’ official who provided all access requests for Presidential records had been involved in the request despite previously stating that he had “not been involved in the DOJ investigation.”
