(FeaturedNews.com) – On Monday, the White House held a concert in celebration of Juneteenth. While watching the concert President Joe Biden, 81, appeared to be frozen as he was standing completely still while everyone else was dancing and clapping.
In the video of the President, he is completely unmoving and staring blankly, while Vice President Kamala Harris and others around him continue to dance and clap at the songs of gospel singer Kirk Franklin. In the video, Biden does not appear to move for close to 30 seconds before the brother of George Floyd, Philonise Floyd, notices and puts an arm around the President. This seemed to get Biden to respond as he smiled and said something to Floyd. The two men proceeded to fist-bump after talking for a little bit.
Ahead of the 2024 presidential election, the Republicans have tried to make it seem like President Biden’s advanced age is an issue and that he is not in the mental or physical condition to handle the White House. The White House has not responded thus far to requests for comments on the incident.
The Republican National Committee had posted on X regarding the video to question why Biden was not moving.
Former President Donald Trump’s campaign had also posted in reference to the video claiming that the lights were on “but no one’s home.”
Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, in his own remarks questioned who had said that Biden did not have any rhythm.
The President’s health had also come under scrutiny last week as a Wall Street Journal report detailed how Biden had not shown clarity during private meetings.
