(FeaturedNews.com) – On Tuesday, at the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies’ (APAICS) annual gala President Biden called former President Donald Trump “that loser.”

During his speech, Biden had slammed Trump for his involvement in killing the bipartisan border agreement earlier this year which had initially received the support of several conservatives in Congress. Biden also called once again for Republicans to “act” on the bill.

Biden stated that originally the bipartisan bill had the support of the majority of Congress, but that he had then been told that “that loser” had called for the Senate bill to be blocked. The crowd had reportedly laughed at Trump’s comments.

Biden stated that he believed Trump was “having trouble” and that he had just talked with people in the Republican party and told them that the bill passing was going to be a win for President Biden and a loss for him, which is why they needed to block the bill from passing.
However, Biden argued that Trump was wrong and that the correct thing to do would be to get Congress Republicans to act because it is what the U.S. needs.

Earlier this year, Trump had slammed the bipartisan border security agreement, which had partly been drafted by conservative Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.). As he had argued, this agreement was a “death wish” and it would be a gift to the Democrats.

As part of the agreement, there would be $20 billion allocated for border security while the federal government would be given additional authorities over border control, as well as the temporary authority to expel migrants.
