(FeaturedNews.com) – On Tuesday, Future Forward, a super PAC backing President Biden’s 2024 reelection effort, is set to make what they believe to be the single largest political ad purchase in U.S. history. According to the New York Times report, the organization is ready to spend $250 million in ads across the country.
The report notes that $140 million is going to be targeting television while the rest will be used for streaming and digital platforms. The ads are going to be running from August all the way to Election Day, in multiple states across the country including Georgia, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Michigan, North Carolina, and Wisconsin.
This is a large increase in spending when considering that in 2020 Future Forward has spent $151 million in support of the Biden campaign.
It has not yet been confirmed what the ads will be focusing on, however, the Democrats and the Biden campaign appear to be working under the assumption that the GOP nominee for 2024 is going to be former President Donald Trump.
In 2023, the ads that Future Forward had put forward were focused on Latino issues and the Inflation Reduction Act.
This latest news about the ads has come as the Biden campaign leaked to the New York Times the strategy it would be following in 2024. Their plan for the campaign is to predominantly target the former president while also paying a lot of attention to social media as the primary campaign tool.
Trump appears to be leading against Biden in many swing states as the President faces a lot of criticism over the border crisis, inflation, and his age.
