(FeaturedNews.com) – On Thursday, President Biden fell on stage after delivering the commencement address and congratulating the last of the Air Force Academy graduates during the ceremony. In the video, an Air Force official then proceeded to point to a sandbag that was on stage, which had caused the President’s stumbling.

This was also reiterated by White House communications director Ben LaBolt, who commented that Biden was fine and that there was just a sandbag on stage while he was congratulating the graduates and shaking hands.

The clip of Biden falling quickly made the rounds online, with many Republican officials and other users sharing the President’s tumble. Biden, 80, is the oldest U.S. president in history, and his age has led to many criticizing his fitness for office. This is likely going to shape up into one of the big debates and concerns ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

President Biden, who is seeking reelection, has stated that it is normal for people to be having these concerns about his age and that he urges people to watch his performance and judge him based on his ability to keep up, rather than his age.

In response to questions about his fall on stage, President Biden joked with reporters once he landed in Washington, D.C., that he had been “sandbagged.” He then proceeded to skip once and walk off.

The White House has reported that the President had not suffered from any injuries as a result of the fall.
