(FeaturedNews.com) – On Friday, the Biden campaign posted a mocking happy birthday wish to former President Donald Trump which included a list of his 78 “accomplishments” for his 78th birthday. As part of the list, they included some controversial moments from the president’s time in office and his legal troubles.
The list did not just have Trump’s felony convictions in the New York hush-money case, but also some of his struggles as a business owner. It also included a video that Trump had posted on social media where he had called for the Central Park Five to be given the death penalty, as well as a video where Trump had talked about a “unified Reich” when talking about the handling of the pandemic. The overturning of Roe v. Wade and his attempts to overturn the Affordable Care Act were also a part of the list.
James Singer, a spokesperson for the Biden campaign posted the statement in which he wished Trump a happy birthday and then pointed out that he was a threat to the U.S. economy, rights, democracy, and the future of the country. He added that their gift to him would be to ensure that he would never win the Oval Office again.
Trump is going to be celebrating his birthday by appearing at the Palm Beach County Convention Center Club 47 USA event in Florida. The group prides itself in allegedly being the biggest club of Trump supporters in the United States.
Ahead of the 2024 presidential election age has become one of the key issues, as President Biden is already 81, while Trump is nearing his eighties. These are the two oldest major party carty candidates to ever be running against one another in a presidential election. Many voters have also expressed that age is one of their primary concerns regarding the upcoming election.
