Biden’s Terrible Abuse of the Media
President Joe Biden has become known for his frequent frustration with the press members whose questions are often uncomfortable. Biden once again snapped at a reporter last week who asked him about his limited campaign trail appearances ahead of the midterm elections. He also asked about his view on abortion restrictions.
Biden has been hostile towards press members in the past, as he recently even called a reporter “kid”. This is not the first time that he has talked down on members of the press, for example, the Preisdent previously called Kelly O’Donnell a “pain in the neck” in the Oval Office. This was following a question about mandatory vaccination for Veterans Affairs. He has also slammed Fox News’ Peter Doocy calling him a “stupid son of a b—-.”
The White House has in the past few weeks faced a number of questions regarding Biden’s limited appearances, especially as the Democrats are in many tight races. Biden was not fond of the questions directed to him regarding his campaign plans.
Reportedly, a reporter asked why there hadn’t been many candidates campaigning with the President.
To this, Biden responded by belittling the reporter, saying “That’s not true. There have been 15. Count, kid, count.”
The reporter continued by asking if there would be any more, to which Biden quickly said “yeah”.
Another similar incident occurred when Biden was asked if he believed there should be any abortion restrictions. Biden replied to this by saying that he thought restrictions should apply as they are set out “in Roe v. Wade! Read it, man, you’ll get educated.”
These outbursts after hard questions have been asked have become a frequent thing for President Biden in the past few months.
