Canceled TV Show Will RETURN Under New Name!
(FeaturedNews.com) – A&E announced on June 10, 2020, that it was dropping “Live PD” after the show’s crew reportedly witnessed the death of a black man in police custody. Amid the riots following George Floyd’s death, the move seemed to make sense to the network. But two years later, the show’s producer is reviving the series with a new name: “On Patrol: Live.”
The revived version will have a new home, too, airing on Reelz, according to producer Dan Abrams. The producer and show host noted he’s been working since “Live PD’s” cancellation to bring back the popular show.

Abrams said that news of the show’s cancellation had surprised him, especially since it was the network’s top-rated program. Abrams added that the existing environment makes this the right time to get it back on the air.
Reelz CEO Stan E. Hubbard said his network is excited about the collaboration and feels it is a good fit for the program. The company is committed to ensuring the quality is exactly what viewers expect.
The show will have a similar format and content as “Live PD,” with Abrams returning as the host. The crew will continue to travel the country and follow police officers while they work.
Fans can watch “On Patrol: Live” at 9 p.m. this summer on Friday and Saturday nights.
