(FeaturedNews.com) – CNN suffered the loss of a key staff member when executive Jeff Zucker left, but information coming to light shows he may not have departed due to the excuse he initially used. A Rolling Stone report blew the top off of yet another CNN scandal.
Zucker claimed he parted with CNN due to his undisclosed relationship with co-worker Allison Gollust, but now, the company has let Gollust go as well. The network said she is leaving due to violations of standards and practices. All signs point to that also is the reason the company outed Zucker.

Rolling Stone revealed sources saying the relationship between Zucker and Gollust can’t be the reason Zucker quit. Instead, the insiders say the two have a romantic link going back to 1996, and everyone at the network knew about it prior to Zucker’s departure and public admission.
WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar did not comment on the exact actions that led to the departures, except to say they violated company policy affiliated with journalistic integrity. The decisions were related to information from an outside probe by law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore. The investigation revealed links between Zucker, Gollust, Chris Cuomo, and Andrew Cuomo, suggesting the two may have been part of the Cuomo scandal.
