(FeaturedNews.com) – On Saturday Night, former President Donald Trump appeared at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey for UFC 302 where the fans applauded him. The fans present were waiting for the main event of the UFC Lightweight Championship where Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier would go up against each other for the title.
Trump had ended up entering the UFC arena along with UFC president Dana White. He then greeted comedian Theo Von and proceeded to meet with members of the audience.
This was one of the first appearances of the former President since Thursday when the jury determined that he was guilty on all 34 counts in the New York criminal trial. The charges against Trump had been brought forward by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and related to a hush money payment made on Trump’s behalf to adult film star Stormy Daniel ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
After the trial ended Trump stated that it was “rigged” and that it was a “disgrace.” He also blamed the judge in this case for being conflicted and pointed out that in the district they were in there was a majority of Democrats with only five to six percent voting Republican. He continued by stating that the true verdict was going to be on November 5th when the people got to choose.
Trump also argued that he had not done anything wrong and that he was innocent. He added that he fought for the Constitution and that the entire County was being rigged.
