(FeaturedNews.com) – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is kicking off his 2024 campaign-in-waiting as a number of his potential Republican rivals in the 2024 GOP primary are going to be attending the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

Over the weekend, many presidential hopefuls are going to be gathering in the scheduled Club for Growth’s annual retreat where they will get to better familiarize themselves with other Republican donors and elected officials in West Palm Beach, Florida. At the same time, DeSantis is going to be launching his public schedule for the next few weeks which includes a book tour throughout the state. DeSantis is going to also be giving a speech at the Club for Growth’s annual donor retreat before his scheduled appearances in Alabama, Texas, and California.

At the same time as the Club for Growth’s annual retreat, many GOP current and potential contenders,  including former President Trump, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy are going to be giving speeches at the CPAC in Washington, D.C., this week for CPAC.

While DeSantis has not yet announced whether or not he would be entering the presidential race, many have pointed out his absence from the CPAC, a high-profile conference for Republicans and conservatives. Still, DeSantis’s public appearance schedule is quite full for the next month which many have viewed as a potential sign that he is preparing to launch a presidential campaign.

The governor has maintained that currently, his focus is on Florida’s state legislature and that he would not be making any announcements regarding the White House until the end of the legislature in May.
