(FeaturedNews.com) – An incorrect listing on Zillow showed that former President Donald Trump had sold his Mar-a-Lago estate on August 4, prior to his booking on Thursday in Fulton County jail in Georgia on 13 felony charges.
The listing was shown to have moved from “sold” to “off-market.” Zillow released a statement to Newsweek in which they pointed out that they were always attempting to have as accurate information as possible on their website, and that when they found that there was inaccurate information on their website they quickly attempted to update it. They further added that the information regarding this property was shown to be inaccurate and following an investigation, they corrected the mistake.
The Trump organization in a statement to Newsweek also stated that the information was incorrect, while Eric Trump released a statement noting that Mar-a-Lago was not sold and it would never be sold.
The Express in a report noted that it is likely that the property had not been “sold” but rather that ownership had been transferred to an organization that is owned by Donald Trump Jr. The former President’s eldest son also rejected these claims.
The listing originally stated that the property had been sold on August 4 for $422,000,000. The address on the listing was the same as Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, but the listing did not explicitly call the property “Mar-a-Lago.” The date of the last purchase of the property was also shown as April 6, 1995 which was the date that Trump had turned the property, which he had purchased a decade earlier, into the Mar-a-Lago Club.
