(FeaturedNews.com) – “Outnumbered” co-host Kayleigh McEnany on Tuesday responded to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., remarks regarding the lies in politics following the criticism she faced about military recruiters being present at a fair she had hosted.

Ocasio-Cortez co-hosted a “student services fair” with Rep. Adriano Espaillat, D-N.Y., for high schoolers in the Bronx which were meant to help them connect with service academies. However, progressives pointed out that there were military branch representatives also present. The lawmaker has alleged that because of their presence, she was accused of “hosting a military recruitment fair for high schoolers.”

McEnany on “Jesse Watters Primetime” quoted in response to these remarks one of Ocasio-Cortez’s previous responses that lies were “just not a right-wing thing.”

She added that normally the lies were being told by the “right wing” but that was not always the case. This added to Ocasio-Cortez’s story a couple of important points. The first one was that those who attacked her over this decision belonged to the “far-left” and the second was that military service was a bad thing.

McEnamy also pointed out that previously protesters had criticized Ocasio-Cortez for showing support to Ukraine and sending funding to the country and now those “people are calling her a ‘warmonger.'” McEnany said.

She added that the second interesting thing was understanding what was so bad about potentially being “recruited by West Point and the Naval Academy in Annapolis.”  She added that this was “one of the noblest things you could do in society” and yet for Ocasio-Cortez, it is a “curse” because that’s not what one should do in the far-left.
