(FeaturedNews.com) – Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, during a recent interview on MSNBC’s “Inside with Jen Psaki,” claimed that Russia might attempt to interfere with the presidential election in 2024.
Host Jen Psaki stated about Russian President Vladimir Putin that he had previously attempted to interfere with the U.S. election. She added that this is something that Clinton experienced firsthand but is not usually discussed. She asked whether Clinton feared something similar could happen again in 2024. She questioned whether Clinton believed that this was something that they needed to have more discussions about.
Clinton argued in response that there should be more discussions about election interference and that she did not doubt that Putin had interfered in elections before. She added that despite those who deny it, there is evidence that Putin had interfered in the 2016 presidential election, which she lost to former President Donald Trump. She further pointed out that, in many ways, Putin interfered with other countries’ internal affairs by funding specific candidates and parties.
Clinton proceeded to state that Putin hated democracy, the West, and the United States and would continue trying to divide and damage the country internally. As she noted, Putin continued to “expand his reach” by forcefully taking over territories.
She further alleged that Putin had worked hard to ensure she would not win the White House and that they should not allow such authoritarianism and fascism to continue.
