(FeaturedNews.com) – Reba McEntire in a recent interview on “Today” claimed that she was “so mad” at singer Taylor Swift over the recent reports that she is dating Travis Kelce, an NFL tight end. As she admitted during the interview, she has long had a crush on Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.
McEntire is currently in a long-term committed relationship with Rex Linn. In the interview, the singer argued that she could no longer have a crush on the tight end now that Taylor Swift had started dating him. She then joked that this had left her “devastated,” as her “boyfriend” had “cheated” to be with Swift.
The rumors about Kelce and Swift first started after Swift joined Kelce’s mother in the game suite during a game on Sept. 24, when the Kansas City Chiefs were playing against the Chicago Bears.
McEntire, who has been dating Linn since 2020, claimed that she has long found Kelce to be “so cute” and would even comment on his looks while watching football with her boyfriend. She added that she loves the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes, which is why they would often watch Kelce playing.
McEntire stated that when the news about Kelce and Swift dating first came out, her boyfriend had jokingly told her that her boyfriend had a new girlfriend, to which she had responded “rub it in.”
While Kelce and Swift have not publicly confirmed that they are dating, Swift has appeared in a number of the NFL star’s games and out in public recently.
