(FeaturedNews.com) – This week, “Jeopardy!” fans were shocked to see a contestant miss out on 23 clues. Many have even taken to the internet to slam the challenging episode.
This week contestants Kristine Rembach, Collette Lee, and returning champion Suresh Krishnan, were all stumped by one of the game show questions and were unable to buzz in for most of the clues. Fans of the show pointed out online that the episode on Wednesday had the highest number of unanswered clues in the entire season.
One fan in particular commented that the episode that night had been “painful to watch,” and criticized the show for how challenging the clues had been. He was not the only fan to react that way to the episode.
Others also posted on Twitter their reaction to the episode, with one viewer pointing out that usually, they are able to figure out the clues, but lately, there has been a trend of the clues being “convoluted.” He then proceeded to ask if the show had “hired new writers.”
A different viewer said that they could not figure out whether the clues had been harder or if the contestants were simply not as familiar with the subject. They did however note that in the past few years, the clues have gotten much harder.
A user on Reddit, who claimed to be contestant Lee, spoke about how hard the experience was, stating that they were worried that they would go viral for not being able to answer anything. She did however say that she had attempted to stay calm and try to avoid being in the red because of bad guesses.
