(FeaturedNews.com) – Former President Kennedy’s grandson Jack Schlossberg has become the latest political correspondent for Vogue ahead of November’s election.
On Wednesday, the magazine announced that 31-year-old Schlossberg is going to be joining the team. Schlossberg, who is the son of U.S. Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy, told the magazine that he believed the 2024 presidential election had “very high” stakes and claimed that he was concerned about what possible implications a second Trump presidency could have.
Vogue also released an interview with Schlossberg on the day of the announcement, in which he argued that it would require younger people to work more if they want to clean up the effects of this presidency in the long run, while it would be much easier for them to go out and vote. He added that his focus is on creating a positive outcome in which the good guys are going to win. However, things will be more complicated than that. Despite this, he remains optimistic as it was not necessary for things to get worse.
Schlossberg as a political correspondent is going to draw from his background in business and law, as he has a JD and MBA from Harvard. In the interview, he also disclosed that his grandfather was his hero as his administration had provided the groundwork for progressivism in the United States.
He noted that as he grew, he also became more politically involved in the official obligations that his family is involved in. He has met many politicians and continues to be optimistic about the future.
Last year, Schlossberg had criticized publicly his cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who was running for the White House as an independent. He also announced his endorsement of President Biden who is seeking reelection in 2024.
