(FeaturedNews.com) – “Judge Judy” Sheindlin stated that she does not believe former President Donald Trump should have become the U.S. president, but at the same time she also believes that the hush money case conviction against him is “nonsense.”
Manhattan Family Court retired judge Sheindlin, who is known for her TV star role, argued during an interview on Max’s “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace” that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg needed to focus his attention on the criminal problems in New York City.
As she stated regarding Bragg’s case against Trump, one needed to work hard to understand what the crime was. She added that Bragg did not like Trump.
Sheindlin also pointed out that as a property owner in Manhattan, he would be happier knowing that the New York County district attorney would take care of criminals who were harming the ability of citizens to walk through the streets rather than trying to convict Trump of spending $5 to $10 million of taxpayers’ money.
In late May, a 12-person jury found Trump to be guilty of all 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection to a hush money payment he had made to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election. Sheindlin has argued that as a taxpayer she resented how the district attorney had been “using the system for [his] own personal self-aggrandizement.”
In January, Sheindlin had officially endorsed former Republican candidate Nikki Haley in the presidential race. She had argued that Trump was a great businessman but that she does not believe that he should have been the U.S. president and that she does not think Trump had ever thought he would be the president.
