(FeaturedNews.com) – Over the weekend, former President Donald Trump suggested the creation of a migrant fighting league that would have similarities to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). In his comments, he argued that migrants are “mean” and “tough.”
On Saturday, Trump suggested the idea during two events, the first of which was a Christian conservative gathering in Washington, D.C., and the second was a campaign rally in Philadelphia.
During the Faith and Freedom Coalition event, Trump argued in his speech that migrants were tough. In both events, Trump recalled how he had previously suggested the idea of a migrant fight club to UFC head Dana White.
In his Philadelphia rally, he noted that he had told White of his idea that would bring in a lot of money. The idea was for an only migrants’ fight rally. He then suggested that whoever won the migrant league championship could ultimately also fight against the UFC champion.
In Washington, Trump had told the Christian group that he even thinks it is likely the migrant guys would win, because of their toughness. He added that while he didn’t like the idea that much, he still does not think it is the worst idea he has had. Those audience members at the event appeared amused by Trump’s idea and were even laughing as he went on about it.
During the UFC Saudi Arabia post fight press conference, White revealed that he could recall that conversation with Trump and that at the time he had believed it was a joke. White then noted that he had seen everyone going crazy over the comments, but that it had been a joke.
