(FeaturedNews.com) – Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) responded to the remarks of former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) who claimed during a recent CBS interview that former President Donald Trump winning a second term in the White House would mean that the United States was “sleepwalking into dictatorship.” However, Graham disagreed with this statement arguing that a possible reelection of President Biden would be significantly worse for the United States.
Graham responded to the remarks made by Cheney during her appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday, by claiming that Trump was a significantly better president than President Biden. He added that a second term with Biden in office would lead to disaster not only within the United States but also abroad. He proceeded to state that the United States border was completely “broken” and that the only person who could potentially fix that was Trump. He added that during Trump’s time in office, there were no international conflicts in Ukraine or Israel because Hamas and the other terrorist groups were scared of him.
He then pointed out that Cheney’s hatred for the former president was “real.”
Graham, who has been a vocal supporter of Trump amidst all the legal troubles and other problems he is facing, argued that if Biden were to win a second term in office, then America would become unrecognizable and the entire world would be “on fire.”
Cheney, who has recently been on a media tour as part of the promotion of her new book, “Oath and Honor: A Memoir and a Warning,” has repeatedly warned that Trump winning a second term in office would effectively mean the end of democracy in the United States.
