(FeaturedNews.com) – In Atlanta, police officers arrested a man who is believed to have been stealing luggage from the airport. When arrested the suspect was allegedly wearing the victim’s clothing, including his shirt and jeans. Craig Nelson has now been charged with unlawful removal of baggage, theft, and criminal trespass after being arrested following the luggage stealing at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Jameel Reid, his alleged victim, said that he found where Nelson was by using his Apple Air Tag which he had added to his luggage, after a return flight to Atlanta from Los Angeles.

While talking to local network WSB-TV, Reid revealed that the guy had stolen his luggage which had around $3,000 worth of stuff stored within it. As he said, he had been waiting for his luggage to come out of baggage claim for a good 30 minutes or so but he was unable to see it. At some point, he decided to check on the Air Tag that he had in his luggage, and from there he could see that the luggage had been taken from the airport and was located in Grady. After some time, the air tag showed that the bag was moving back toward the airport. That was when he informed airport security who continued to track the luggage through the Air Tag.

After some time the bag was back at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport where Reid was able to come face-to-face with the thief. Police intervened during the encounter and arrested the suspect.
