Man Who Shot Lady Gaga's Dog Walker Accidentally Released From Jail, Manhunt Launched

Manhunt LAUNCHED – $5000 Reward Offered!

(FeaturedNews.com) – On July 18, US Marshals announced a reward for anyone providing information that leads to the capture of James Howard Jackson. The 19-year-old was in custody for his alleged role in the shooting of Lady Gaga’s dog walker and theft of her French bulldogs last year. Authorities at the Los Angeles jail accidentally released him due to a clerical error on April 6.

The Marshal Service is offering up to $5,000 for help getting Jackson back into custody. The suspect faces accusations that he shot Ryan Fischer, who was walking the pop star’s dogs. Jackson, along with Jaylin White and Lafayette Whaley, allegedly stole two of the pups. Prosecutors have charged the purported gunman with second-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and attempted murder.

The accused is black, with black hair and brown eyes. He weighs about 120 pounds, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall. Authorities warn he is armed and dangerous. They recommend anyone who knows of Jackson’s whereabouts or has information that could lead to his capture contact local law enforcement officials.

After the accidental release, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Major Crime Team asked US Marshals to assist with the case. Fischer pleaded with Jackson on Instagram, asking him to turn himself in to authorities.

Lady Gaga expressed concern over the events leading to the perpetrator being released from jail. Should someone face consequences for allowing Jackson’s escape to occur?
