The Associated Press had a reporter on the ground who witnessed two victims, one unconscious and one with a wounded leg pulled from the rubble. The outlet described the scene as chaotic, with “slabs of concrete and twisted metal” hindering efforts to save lives.
Emergency Minister Armen Pambukhchyan told the news source that this office fielded 20 reports from people who couldn’t locate loved ones and confirmed 10 were pulled from the debris, with one confirmed dead.
