(FeaturedNews.com) – US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents arrested numerous high-profile illegal immigrants at the southern border in 2021, according to information Fox News received through a Freedom of Information Act request. The data revealed these individuals were on the terrorist watch list. In an interview with Breitbart News, the former CBP Commissioner and Chief of the Border Patrol, Mark Morgan, said he would like to know what the Biden administration did with these people.

Morgan said the typical procedure for anyone showing up in the Terrorist Screening Database is additional screening. He stated that the CBP leaders tried to publicize the arrests, but the Biden administration struck it from public record. Morgan explained he fully supports releasing the data and accused the White House of trying to hide it.
Representatives James Comer (R-KY) and John Katko (R-NY) sent a letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on March 22, seeking information on why data regarding the detaining of immigrants with ties to terrorism at the border is not becoming public. They note the statistics show these situations may be happening more often, and Americans are entitled to information on how “President Biden’s weak border policies” are enabling these issues.
