Obama-Era Judge Fines Powell, Wood

(FeaturedNews.com) – Sidney Powell and Lin Wood filed one of dozens of lawsuits questioning the validity of the 2020 election in an attempt to present evidence that election fraud may have played a role in Joe Biden’s win. Like most other cases, Powell and Wood’s suit was dismissed with little deliberation, and the lawyers received a massive fine for doing what they believed was right.

Powell and Wood’s Fight Against Fraud

Sidney Powell, Lin Wood, and a group of other Michigan lawyers attempted to take on possible election fraud by filing one of over fifty lawsuits that questioned the validity of the 2020 election results during the weeks leading up to and immediately following Joe Biden taking office. The majority of these lawsuits were quickly dismissed with little attempt to consider the evidence that something may be off, including earlier lawsuits in Michigan as well as Powell and Wood’s attempt to dig deeper into leads surrounding possible election fraud in Detroit.

Judge Linda Parker’s Response

U.S. District Judge Linda Parker delivered an unsettling response to Powell and Wood’s attempt to solve a problem they, like millions of Americans, genuinely believe may exist. Parker, who was nominated by former president Barack Obama in 2013, recently fined Powell, Wood, and the seven other lawyers that were involved in one of Michigan’s most prominent election fraud cases approximately $175,000.

The fines, which would be paid to the State of Michigan and the City of Detroit, are the result of Parker’s attempt to silence further investigation into possible election fraud within the state. Parker stated that the lawyers’ arguments were based on “nothing but speculation and conjecture,” effectively accusing them of misusing Michigan’s court system to attempt to change the outcome of the election, and recommended investigations into whether Powell and Wood were fit to continue practicing law.

Should Parker, or any judge for that matter, have the right to fine Powell and Wood’s good faith effort to deal with a problem they genuinely believe exists, or did this move involve a bit of misuse of power of her own? Reply to your email and let us know. We’d love to hear from you.
