(FeaturedNews.com) – On Friday, President Biden and former President Barack Obama collaborated on a video promoting the Affordable Care Act. The video was released on the last day that enrollment was open and comes as former President Donald Trump has once again threatened the act during his presidential campaign.

Obama has filmed a video that is around 30 seconds long where along with Biden, states that ObamaCare was “still a thing.” He added that regardless of what people wanted to call it, it was still a thing that the Republicans have been trying to repeal since it was first put in existence. However, as he argued, they would continue to fight to ensure that it could remain protected.

Biden added that they were not just looking to protect the Affordable Care Act, but also to expand it as it allowed American working families to save millions of dollars. He added that under this plan more Americans had health care coverage than ever before.

Friday was the last day that the Affordable Care Act Marketplace was open, and within the last week, there were 7 million people who had signed up for coverage.

In 2022, Obama visited the White House to celebrate the success of the healthcare law that had been signed during his administration.

However, former President Donald Trump who is the frontrunner of the primary Republican race, has maintained that Obamacare should be repealed. During his first term in office, he had attempted to get Congress to repeal the Act, but he had failed. Last month, he brought up a possible repeal of the Affordable Care Act once again.
