(FeaturedNews.com) – The parents of Spc. Kennedy Ladon Sanders, 24, who was killed in a drone strike in Jordan talked about their daughter during an appearance on “Fox & Friends.”
Oneida and Shawn Sanders spoke fondly about their daughter who had been killed along with two other American soldiers in Jordan, and noted that she had always been a goal-oriented person.
The drone attack near the Syrian border resulted in the death of Sanders, Spc. Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, 23, and Sgt. William Jerome Rivers, 46, over the weekend.
During their appearance, Sander’s parents spoke about the unexpected loss of their daughter and addressed the type of response they wanted to see from the United States in response to the attack that had cost the life of their daughter.
Oneida noted that as grieving parents they would not want to see any other parents having to go through what they were going through. She added that whether or not the United States President decided to respond following the attack it would not bring any changes to their situation. She further pointed out that she trusts that whatever decision is made is a good one that will help keep everyone as safe as possible.
Oneida also pointed out there have been many lawmakers as well as Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp who have contacted them. She added that prior to speaking to President Biden they would also need to file paperwork, however, since the interview, John Kirby, the White House national security spokesman has confirmed that the President has come in direct contact with the families.
