Pelosi Humiliated as Crowd Erupts
Nancy Pelosi after she made a surprise appearance at NYC’s Global Citizen music festival on September 24th, where she was met with a large amount of boos from the crowd. The Democrat had originally been introduced on stage by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, a successful actress, and wife of Nick Jonas. During her brief time on stage Pelosi spoke about carbon pollution and climate change.
Pelosi boasted that it is thanks to the people that the United States has now been able to move towards reducing its carbon pollution by 40% by 2030, while also enacting the biggest climate legislation in recent years.
She continued to say that this deal will provide their children with better water and air, and it will also give parents better jobs and lower energy bills. Throughout Pelosi’s statements, the crowd continued to loudly react. She also pointed out that her grandsons were also in the crowd at the festival.
At this point, there were also some people who celebrated Pelosi and cheered after her statement.
The performers at the festival included Mariah Carey, Metallica, The Jonas Brothers, and Usher.
