(FeaturedNews.com) – During an interview on MSNBC, former House Speaker and Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif appeared to be annoyed about the questions regarding the House Republicans’ claims that they would be impeaching President Joe Biden for being connected to the business dealings made by his son Hunter Biden.
During the interview, host Andrea Mitchell had asked about the GOP’s impeachment efforts. Pelosi had previously pushed for impeachment proceedings against former President Donald Trump during his administration. Pelosi had at first attempted to dismiss the question as she did not appear to be interested in engaging with this line of questioning. However, she stated that the suggestion of Biden being impeached was “frivolous” and that it was only meant to act as a “diversionary tactic.”
Pelosi had also added that any impeachment proceeding against Biden will just make it even clearer that the GOP does not actually have something to give to the American people.
She then proceeded to praise the Biden administration for its economic success, arguing that the current job reports refer to around 200,000 jobs and that unemployment had dropped to under four percent for the last 18 months.
She added that this means that during Biden’s time in office, there were 13.4 million jobs created. She further argued that the GOP was just using the impeachment proceedings as a way of drawing attention away from the success of the Biden administration, especially as they have not given Americans anything in terms of job growth. She added they were just trying to shift the attention elsewhere instead of delivering.
