(FeaturedNews.com) – On Sunday, during an interview on CNN’s State of the Union, former Vice President Mike Pence argued that Biden wanted to distract Americans from the effects of his failed policies both “at home and abroad.”
Pence made his appearance from Israel, where he is visiting the families of those who had been taken hostage by Hamas terrorists during the Oct. 7 attack.
As he argued, he does not believe the U.S. election should be determined based on what had happened three years ago. He noted that instead, the focus should be on how the Biden administration’s failed policies had resulted in the country facing the worst inflation in its history, the worst border crisis, and how Biden’s policies had emboldened U.S. adversaries from around the world.
Pence argued that he understood why Biden wanted to focus his presidential campaign on Jan. 6, especially as his administration has significantly weakened the U.S. position.
The Biden campaign has redirected the President’s messaging from “Bidenomics” to the Jan. 6 attack to slam the former President who is currently the frontrunner in the presidential election. On Friday, Biden attacked former President Donald Trump for attempting to “steal history” in the same way he had attempted to steal the Presidential election.
Pence, during his remarks, also slammed the attempts to have Trump removed from the presidential ballot. He argued that these efforts were completely “antithetical” to democracy and that it was all part of the efforts to remove decision-making from the American people.
