Investigation Continues as Two More Men MURDERED in Similar Fashion
(FeaturedNews.com) – In Albuquerque, New Mexico, Muslims are showing signs of unease after the announcement that yet another male from their community has been a victim of homicide. On August 5, authorities found Naeem Hussain shot dead. Earlier in the week, on August 1, officials investigated another murder. Police are working with the FBI to determine if there is a link between the cases and two others that occurred in July and November of 2021.
The first death officers suspect was related to the August 5 murder was Mohammad Ahmadi, who died under suspicious circumstances in 2021. Next was Aftab Hussein, who lost his life on July 26. The third victim, discovered on August 1, was Muhammed Afzaal Hussain.

Besides living in the same area, all four men were Muslim and came to the United States from South Asia. In at least three cases, authorities say the suspect or suspects carried out sneak attacks on the men before taking their lives. The Albuquerque Police Department (APD) feels strongly that there is a connection between all the victims.
Police have been able to verify a relationship between the cases of Muhammed Afzaal Hussain and Aftab Hussein, who both came from Pakistan. Naeem Hussain is also Pakistani, and Ahmadi immigrated to the US from Afghanistan.

Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) expressed her horror that a killer might be targeting the Muslim community in Albuquerque. She stated she was increasing law enforcement attention on the cases.
The targeted killings of Muslim residents of Albuquerque is deeply angering and wholly intolerable.
I am sending additional State Police officers to Albuquerque to work in close coordination with APD and the FBI to bring the killer or killers to justice – and they WILL be found.

The APD continues to investigate all four cases and released images on August 7 showing a vehicle they believe is involved in the murders. It is a four-door Volkswagen sedan, likely a Jetta. The color is silver or gray, and the windows have a dark tint. Authorities implore anyone with information to contact them.
