(FeaturedNews.com) – The “Godfather” actor, Robert De Niro, issued a warning against former President Donald Trump being reelected, arguing that the country’s democracy would not be able to survive a second term of “a wannabe dictator.” De Niro, in his statement, further claimed that he had spent a lot of time “studying bad men.”

On Wednesday, Miles Taylor, a former administration official of the Trump administration read De Niro’s statement at the “Stop Trump Summit” organized by The New Republic in New York. In the statement, the actor argued that after having studied the mannerisms and characteristics of many of these men there was something about Trump that was different. He added that when looking at Trump he did not just see “a bad man” but rather he saw one that was evil.

He proceeded to claim to have met gangsters over the years and alleged that this was what Trump was trying to pull off but was not quite managing to do. He added that even criminals had an idea of wrong and right, even when they choose to not do the right thing. As he said they still had a moral code even if it was “warped.” However, Trump was different because he claimed he did not have such a code, instead, he was just a “wannabe tough guy” who did not have any ethics, morals, or understanding of wrong and right.

The 80-year-old actor added that Trump only regarded himself and not the people that he was supposed to be leading.
