Theme Park Slapped With Multi-Million Dollar Lawsuit Amid Racism Allegations

Theme Park SCANDAL – Million Dollar Lawsuit Filed!

(FeaturedNews.com) – A Philadelphia theme park embroiled in controversy now faces a $25 million lawsuit from a group of people claiming racial discrimination. The Burns family from Baltimore is seeking damages from Sesame Place, a tourist destination designed around the beloved children’s show, “Sesame Street.” The case stems from a viral video of two young Black children seemingly snubbed by one of the park’s characters.

The media in question was posted to Instagram on July 16 by a mom from a family in New York. Her allegations of racism seem to have encouraged other families with similar experiences to come forward. Attorneys for the Burns family told CBS Philly that their daughters were ignored by four characters at the facility on Father’s Day in 2018 and claim there is video evidence to back the allegation.

Matt Harris, another lawyer on the case, says the group intends to “punish Sea World,” the parent company of Sesame Place. The park sent a vague statement to CBS saying it was reviewing the lawsuit and that the company would address the issue through typical, established legal means. The note stated that the company is dedicated to equality and inclusion and a positive experience for all its guests.
