(FeaturedNews.com) – John Morgan, a major Biden donor, and Morgan & Morgan in a recent statement presented who he believes is the Democratic candidate that has the best winning chances. Following President Biden’s announcement on Sunday that he would not be seeking reelection, many donors and lawmakers have come out in support of Vice President Kamala Harris, who is currently the presumptive Democratic nominee.
Still, there is one major Biden donor who does not appear to be “enthusiastic” about the endorsement of the president and is planning to cut his fundraising efforts.
On Sunday, attorney John Morgan took to the social media platform X to say that one needed to be enthusiastic in order to reach out to friends asking them for money, or they needed to be hoping they would receive a political appointment. He noted that he was not in either of those groups which is why it is now others turn to fundraiser. As he pointed out, the donors that currently have a hold of the 90 million can release those funds immediately, and they can even keep the million he has as a fundraiser. He proceeded to wish them “good luck.”
On Tuesday during an appearance on “Cavuto: Coast to Coast,” Morgan also provided more explanation as to why he is not planning on supporting the Harris campaign. He noted that while it sounds easy to go out and fundraise, it is not an easy task and to do so you need to feel motivated and believe in the effort.
