(FeaturedNews.com) – On Sunday, former president Donald Trump went against the warning of many judges who have told him not to post any photos of the prosecutors involved in his legal troubles. Despite these warnings, Trump posted the photos claiming that he was “fighting this group of thugs.”

In his Truth Social post, Trump alleged that these were the prosecutors that Attorney General Merrick Garland and “Crooked Joe Biden” had set against him in an attempt to interfere with the 2024 GOP primary and the presidential elections. He further claimed that this was an attempt to stop him from winning the nomination because they knew that he had previously won the election twice. This is another reference to his frequent unfounded allegations about a stolen election in 2020. He then proceeded to individually name four prosecutors, New York Attorney General Letitia James, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis, and DOJ special counsel Jack Smith.

Smith, in particular, was assigned by Garland to oversee the two cases that the Department of Justice is currently investigating relating to former president Donald Trump. One of the two cases relates to the possible mishandling of classified documents after Trump left the White House, while the other deals with Trump’s involvement in the events of Jan. 6, 2021.

This second case in particular is something that the Senate chose not to impeach him for. Trump, in his statement, claimed that he was fighting “thugs, radical left Marxists, racists, and lunatics” in order to save the U.S.
