(FeautredNews.com) – Stephanie Grisham, former White House press secretary, recently made allegations regarding former President Donald Trump’s handling of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. Grisham claimed that she witnessed Trump displaying these documents to individuals on the dining room patio of his residence. During her tenure as Trump’s chief spokesperson from July 2019 to April 2020, Grisham asserted that Trump displayed a lack of respect for classified information.

In a separate development, Trump pleaded not guilty to 37 counts related to an investigation by the Department of Justice. The charges stem from his alleged mishandling of classified documents after leaving the White House in 2021. Additionally, some of the charges are connected to Trump’s efforts to impede the federal government from reclaiming the documents after their request for their return.

As part of the federal indictment, a partial transcript of a recording from a meeting at Trump’s Bedminster, N.J. Golf Club in July 2021 was released. The transcript suggests that Trump exhibited classified Pentagon documents to unauthorized individuals, which he had taken from the White House. CNN recently aired the recording they obtained.

In response to these claims, Trump has argued that he did not have access to the specific classified document mentioned in the recording. He maintains that the recording actually supports his innocence. In interviews with Semafor and ABC, Trump explained that he was merely posturing and did not possess any actual documents during the recording, referring to it as “bravado.”
