(FeaturedNews.com) – Over the weekend, former President Donald Trump insisted that the last remaining Republican presidential challenger, Nikki Haley, would not be able to defeat him as she would not manage to beat President Joe Biden for the White House.

During his rally in Las Vegas, which was aired live on Newsmax, and simulcast on the online streaming platform Newsmax2, Trump argued that Haley did not have the support of the GOP. He added that another thing she did not have was the “MAGA.”

However, he proceeded to claim that the Democrats wanted Haley to become the nominee because they knew that President Biden would have an easy time defeating her in the general election. After all, she does not have the necessary support from the GOP. As he pointed out Haley supported the 23 percent national sales tax and wants to eliminate Social Security and Medicare. Trump continued by noting that she has also spoken about increasing the retirement age for Social Security.

Nevada is believed to be an important battleground state, however, while Trump has opted to run in the state’s nominating caucuses on Feb. 8, Haley has instead decided to run in the state’s primary on Feb. 6. The caucuses are essential in this race as it is the caucus winner and not the primary winner who will win the state’s convention delegates.

On Saturday during his remarks, Trump also slammed his former U.N. ambassador by saying that she was “almost a radical-left Democrat.” He added that Haley had made a “corrupt deal” taking the money of Democrat voters and recruiting all possible votes in the primaries.
