Trump Drops Bombshell on Democrats
On Saturday, Former President Trump once again teased another presidential run after he said that he would “probably” run for the White House again. This would also mean that there might be a potential rematch against President Biden if he too decides to seek reelection.
During his rally in Robstown, Texas, Trump, who is trying to boost the campaigns of Republicans in Texas, continued with his unfounded claims that he won the 2020 election. He said that he had run for the Presidency both times and had won both times. He also added that in 2020 he got “millions more votes” than he had in 2016, and that he had received more votes than any President who had sat in the White House.
He also added that for the country to succeed he would need to run for the Presidency again. Before taking center stage at the rally, Trump had been greeted by chants as people were shouting “We want Trump.”
This is the first time since he was subpoenaed by the House select committee in charge of investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot that he has said he would probably have to run again. The subpoena currently requests that Trump sends in all relevant documents by Nov. 4 and that his testimony be given around Nov. 14.
According to some reports, Trump and his allies were considering whether the former President should announce the presidential election before the midterm election occurred. This would immediately lead to the Federal Election Commission asking that Trump disclose his financial information and would limit the amount he could get from individual donors.
