(FeaturedNews.com) – On Wednesday, former President Donald Trump used his Fox News Town Hall in Iowa to blast Hunter Biden for having sold his artwork for millions of dollars.
Trump argued that unlike Hunter Biden he did not receive “$8 million for doing nothing” nor did he get $500,000 for completing a payment. However, he argued that if he could get away with it, it did not sound like a bad idea. He added that when he had first heard of this he had thought that there was no way they would get away with it, but they ended up doing so.
Trump mentioned this in response to a question relating to the allegations by the Democrats that he had illegally profited from his businesses while serving in the White House.
In response, Trump argued that he owned hotels and that he was not just receiving free money. He then pointed out that during his time serving as the U.S. President George Washington had two offices side by side, one for business affairs and one for the country’s affairs. However, as he argued he did not do that despite being allowed to do it.
Instead, he pointed out that he had put everything in a trust, and that all the money he was making was for offering a service because people chose to stay in his hotels and go to his clubs.
GOP investigators have expressed suspicion over whether Hunter Biden’s recent art career had created a conflict of interest between the White House and large wealthy buyers.
