(FeaturedNews.com) – Former President Donald Trump, who is running in the 2024 Presidential race, called President Joe Biden a “very stupid person” during an interview with Wayne Allyn Root.
The interview, which was aired on conservative network Real America’s Voice on July 15, went viral after a clip of Trump’s comment was shared by PatriotTakes on Twitter this Sunday. Since its posting, the clip has amassed over 100,000 views.
Trump is currently the frontrunner of the Republican primary presidential race, while Biden is leading the Democratic primary. This has led many people to believe that it is likely that the 2024 presidential race is going to be another case of Biden vs. Trump.
During this interview, Trump claimed that he had never gone after Biden in the way that he could have only because he respects the “presidency.” He then proceeded to slam Biden by calling him a “stone cold crook” and arguing that he was a “lowlife” and a “very stupid person.” He added that the only reason he was now saying this is because Biden has indicted Trump, which Trump argued no one believed was possible.
He then referred to the Presidential Records Act, under which he was indicted over the allegations that he had mishandled classified documents after leaving the White House in 2021. The classified documents were recovered from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
Trump’s comments about Biden being a “crook” is likely a reference to the House Republicans’ investigation into the business dealings and alleged corruption that President Biden and his entire family, including his son Hunter Biden have been a part of.
The House Oversight Committee, led by Rep. James Comer from Kentucky, along with Republican Senator Chuck Grassley from Iowa, have been trying to get access to an FBI document that allegedly includes information about a bribery scheme involving Biden and a foreign national.
