(FeaturedNews.com) – In a recent interview with Lou Dobbs that aired on Monday, former President Donald Trump slammed former Reps. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) and Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) claim that they are significantly worse than all Democrats.
During his remarks, Trump repeated his unfounded claims that the Jan. 6 committee had deleted evidence. He proceeded to attack the committee’s members, work, and hearings. He added that the hearing was a “total sham” and that included two Republicans that were worse than the Democrats. He also characterizes them as “very sick.”
This is not the first time that Trump has slammed the two former Representatives who had been a part of the Jan. 6 House select committee which was tasked with investigating the attack on the Capitol.
However, Trump is incorrect about the evidence, as all the evidence and conclusions from the investigation are publicly available.
Trump, in his comments, specifically blasted Cheney, who had lost her 2022 primary reelection bid to a candidate that was being backed by Trump. The former President had opposed Cheney because of her criticisms of Trump’s allegations about a stolen election and her frequent comments about how he was a threat to democracy.
Trump argued that Cheney was a “sick person” and that he was the reason she had been defeated in her state’s election. He added that before Cheney was not able to be defeated, but by the end of her term she had ended up getting the lowest vote in history.
