(FeaturedNews.com) – The famous souvenir shop and gas station in Joshua Tree is getting a special revamp for a limited time. The stop is around 128 miles from Los Angeles and 168 miles from San Diego.

With the start of summer, Kellogg Company, the owner of the Cheez-It brand, has changed the rest stop into what they have dubbed the cheesiest, biggest roadside attraction to ever charm America’s beloved byways and highways.

Starting on Monday, June 5, and ending on Sunday, June 11, the location is going to be transformed as a Cheez-It pump has been installed. The pump is one of a kind and it is going to pump bags of Cheez-It into vehicles.

The shop will also include other memorabilia connected to the famous snack, as well as many of the rarer Cheez-It flavors. The rest stop is going to be open everyday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Erin Storm, the brand senior director for Cheez-It, revealed in a statement that many Cheez-It lovers are also lovers of travel. This unique rest stop is going to help fuel their road adventures with excitement and will encourage fans to take Cheez-Its with them on their adventure. As part of the stop, people can expect to find exclusive merchandise as well as aisles with different flavors of the famous snack.

Outside of the products available for purchase, the stop will also have photo opportunities and an oversized Cheez-It box has been placed on location for those who want to take “Instagram-worthy” photos.
