The whole plane was full of laughter after every passenger took part in the mannequin challenge and gained recognition online.
A video shared by user @toxicweapons on TikTok shows every single passenger on a plane taking part in the famous internet trend. The passengers all took various poses and stayed still much as a mannequin does.
The multiple poses taken on the flight include people in supposed phone calls, to some standing still while in a fight.
Since its original posting, the video has been viewed more than 4.7 million times and has received 840,000 likes. Many on TikTok had been amazed to see so many passengers coordinating so well so as to be able to complete this challenge.
The mannequin challenge made its first viral round in October 2016. Many believe that the originators of this challenge were the students at Edward H. White High School in Jacksonville, Florida. The group posted the video on Twitter with the hashtag #mannequin challenge.
Since then, the challenge made its way to the White House where Ellen DeGeneres convinced former president Barack Obama to join her in completing the challenge.
This internet trend, which eventually died out, has now been revived and is starting to gain popularity once again.
A representative of the team who organized the mannequin challenge on the plane said that setting everything up and getting the flight attendants to join took them around 10 minutes.
