(FeaturedNews.com) – Billy Dinnerstein, the owner of Your Kind of Cuts is known for a unique service as he is able to give both kids and adults that have sensory issues a haircut.
In an interview with TODAY.com Dinnerstein revealed that he had not been aware of how necessary this service was until he started offering it. He added that to this day he is always overwhelmed when he first finds out that there are people who travel from states away and book hotels near the area just so they can get a haircut from him because their area does not have a similar service.
On his business’ TikTok account, Dinnerstein recently posted a video of cutting the hair of a 4-year-old called Justice. The video quickly went viral. In the video, Justice is visibly upset and crying as he is trying to leave the seat, stand up or even grab the clippers. Still, the barber continues to be cool and counts with the child before every cut is made. When the haircut is finished he proceeds to give a high-five to Justice.
Since its posting the video has received over 9.5 million views and 930,000 likes. Jahod Carson, who is the little boy’s father, said that this was the first time that his son was getting a haircut.
As he said, seeing Billy outside and the focus on his son being comfortable is what made it so easy for him to choose Billy for the job. Carson added that Billy had done great work with the haircut and that both of them had collaborated in helping his son get his first haircut.
