VIDEO: Biden’s New Name for Kamala Harris
On Monday, President Joe Biden’s most recent gaffe took the internet as he called Vice President Kamala Harris “a great president”. This occurred while the president was wishing her happy birthday. Biden has become known online for his multiple gaffes during his time in office.
The remarks regarding Harris’ birthday came during a White House event that was meant to be celebrating Diwali. As Harris’ birthday had recently passed, having been on Oct. 20, the President wanted to extend some good wishes to his vice President. As part of his remarks, Biden also joked that Harris had just “turned 30”, when in fact she is now 58 years old.
This is not the first time that Biden has called Harris the president. This is the third time. The first one was in January 2021, when during a speech on voting rights, he had called her “President Harris”. The second time was during a remark in South Carolina in December 2021.
This is not the only wrong title that Biden has given her. In fact, in March he had called her the “first lady” while speaking to reporters.
Other recent gaffes that have led many to question Biden’s mental state included a White House event where he actively called out and searched for a deceased congresswoman. The White House had to then come to the rescue and explain that Biden had misspoken.
