VIDEO: Boyfriend Dives Into Ocean – But for What?
A video shared by Scott Clyne of Sarasota, Florida captures the moment when he had to jump overboard in order to rescue the engagement ring with which he was proposing to his girlfriend Tucker.
As shown in the video, the two were standing at the front of a boat, with the sun setting behind them. It was at that moment that Clyne took out a ring box from his shorts pocket and started to drop down on one knee – only the moment did not go quite as expected, as the box fell out of his hand and into the water.
Clyne did not waste any time and he quickly jumped into the water after the box. Surprisingly he came out only a few moments later with the box in his hand. His girlfriend was laughing in the background.
Their friend, who was also on the boat and filming, was the one to help Clyne and the ring back to the boat. Following this short mishap, Clyne quickly started recreating his proposal again. While the video does not have any audio, his girlfriend appears to happily say yes and the two proceed to kiss.
A shorter version of the video was also posted by Clyne on TikTok, with Snoop Dogg’s hit song “Drop It Like It’s Hot” playing.
