(FeaturedNews.com) – A father in the U.K. was caught on video as he climbed up the Togo Tower ride at Gulliver’s World in Warrington, outside of Liverpool and Manchester, in order to save his six-year-old daughter who had gotten stuck on the theme park’s water slide.
Emma Reece, Andrews wife, pointed out that their daughter was in extreme distress and she was frightened while on the boat, but that the help that the staff had called was taking too long to arrive at the scene. That was when Andrew suggested that he could climb up the water slide, but Emma had told him that he would not be able to climb up as he would slide down. Still, that did not stop the determined father from trying to save his daughter.
A video of the incident was shared online, with Andrew Reece trying to make his way through the water and over to the slide. In the background, a woman’s voice says “When your child gets stuck on a slide,” and then laughs.
Reece is not only successful, but he also manages to get on the raft and get his daughter out safely. From there the pair make their way down the slide.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Emma stated that their daughter had been very happy to be rescued by her dad.
Gulliver’s World told Fox News Digital that the operators had called for help and that the relevant team was getting to the scene to help resolve the situation.
