Mullins, 31, is an astrologer and stated that she wanted to change their home’s door for quite some time. The couple had spent the last two years renovating their home, which included some large projects.
As Mullins shared, she was shocked to receive a compliment for her choice by a postal delivery person who praised her choice while dropping off mail. She was at work when she saw that someone had been standing outside of their home for longer than usual.
After checking the camera, Mullins saw the delivery worker Benethia Williams, who said “I love this door — it’s a cute pink.”
Mullins, who shared the video on TikTok, said that the incident had made her smile as their neighborhood had gone through a lot and was rebuilding. Since the video was posted online, it has received more than 70,000 views and 11,000 likes.
Many commenters online also expressed love for the color on the door, calling it “cute,” while others said that they immediately loved the woman in the video.
Mullins said that they had taken a lot of time discussing the door color and that while she had wanted it to be pink, her boyfriend had not been sure about it. Instead, they had considered blue, green, and even a soft red before Birk decided to go for the “most pink-ish color” in Mullins’ selection.
