( – On Wednesday, Arizona Representative Liz Harris was expelled from the state House of Representatives following a bipartisan vote which came after the recent report by the House Ethics Committee, which showed how she had violated the chamber’s rules.

Following her expulsion, a video of her gathering her belongings and leaving the chamber has received a lot of attention on Twitter.

Harris was expelled from the chamber after one of the speakers she had brought in during a hearing had baselessly accused lawmakers and officials of taking bribes from drug cartels. Harris is known for promoting and supporting a number of election conspiracies.

The bipartisan vote which led to her expulsion went ahead in a 46-13 vote.

A reporter for the Washington Post, Yvonne Wingett Sanchez, was the one to post the video of her exiting the chamber following the vote. As she was leaving, there were people in the gallery shouting “shame on you!”

Since its posting, the video has amassed more than 570,000 views.

The ethics committee is composed of three Republicans and two Democrats, all of whom agree in their report that Harris’ choice to bring Breger to the hearing “violated the inherent obligation to protect the integrity of the House.” It also alleges that Harris was aware of the allegations that Breger was going to make and deliberately tried to hide it from other House leaders ahead of his hearing appearance. She further misled the committee which was then tasked with investigating her actions.
